New arrivals in Monaco are targets for people selling the following services.

1. Private banking. There are many banks ranging from well known international ones to smaller niche players. UK nationals generally go to those they are familiar with at home or with whom they already have a banking relationship in the UK. There is a lot to be said for doing this whilst also establishing a relationshio with a second bank in Monaco. It will help when negotiating with your main bank that they know another local bank is hungry for your business.

2. Estate agents Monaco. Normally people rent in Monaco. Demand is high and negotiating better terms for your lease is difficult. Relationships between agents in the Principality are close so best to assume they all know about you.

4. Estate agents France. Most people have a villa in France usually nearby. The agent in Monaco will also try to earn a commission on this sale. You are probably better off using a local French agent. It is best if the agent offers a property management service as well. There are smaller agents selling high value properties so do not think you necessarily have to go to the international branded agents.

5. Family Offices. Monaco has several Multi Family Offices. Services and costs vary considerably. Take your time to understand what you get and the fees. Also how easy it is to leave.

6. Notaire Monaco. If you buy a property in Monaco there are only 3 notaire firms.

7. Notaire France. There is much more choice. Best to use your own notaire rather than the seller's.
